August 2017 Prosper New Home Sales recorded 39 sales. The cheapest new home was sold for $277,000 and the most expensive new home was sold for $1,504,000.
Low inventory of resale homes has builders scrambling to keep up with the demand. Builders don’t even have many spec homes to sell, most are under contract.
Families relocating from California and working from Toyota in Plano are buying homes in Prosper due to low prices compared to property values in Frisco & McKinney. For last few years now new home sales have been growing in Prosper Texas because the town is only 35 minutes from where Toyota, JPMorgan Chase and Liberty Mutual Insurance are locating thousands of new jobs.
