Research and data website ValuePenguin recently ranked Frisco as the eighth-safest city in Texas among cities with a population of more than 50,000. Frisco is known for having a high median income level, reflective of its professional and educated demographics.

As for mid-sized city rankings with populations between 20,000 and 50,000, Colleyville took the top spot, with Little Elm at No. 8 and Coppell at No. 10.
